The Geomance Editon Divination Collection (#300276845) is a bundle offer of the "GEOMANCE'S I CHING FOR DOS" and of "Le Miroir Magique de Jean de Meung".

- The « I Ching » is the name of the well known « Chinese Book of Change » and comes in the XIXth c. English Legge's translation for the English version of the program,

that is also declinated in a French version with another XIXth c. translation (by PLF Philastre). The executable yiking.exe opens in a DOS windows (inside Microsoft Windows),

is menu-keyboard controlled (no mouse), and makes a yarrows-stalks or coins throwing simulation, with the readings of the divinatory interpretation of the I Ching,

with a bit of Chinese etymology for the names of the trigrams and hexagrams, first hexagram, the second derivated by mutation, former sky derivations, etc.

- « Le Miroir Magique de Jean de Meung » is the presentation of a XVIIth c. French divinatory text, a fate book named « Le Plaisant jeu du dodechedron » that became so famous that it was

even translated in English (probably in versified Middle-English I guess...). The text was ascribed to the XIIIth c. French poet Jean de Meung but is certainly apocryphal, because it was writen

in old French with some words that do not occur before the XVIth, so it should have been rewriten from a possible lost manuscript by Jean deMeung...

The original text comes versified, and I just made a translation in modern French, and adapted it as an electronic playable game, just using DHTML. An older playable version , only playable

online from my website, does work enought, but this new one comes with a better ergonomy, that is an important factor to play any game !

I also made a playing cards version for that game that comes in a printable PDF file.
